Silohuetted figures

Specially for Amos.

This is my handmade pinhole camera

These are the pictures for my surrealistic photography project taken with it

Silhouetted figures by the window
I watched the drama
of dancer-men and coffee-cake house

supreme.

:D

if you come id even give you the box. the hard part will be the developing, you need a ton of chemicals and an extremely dark room, and a projector to expose the negative and translate it into the positive.

I can make the box, there are tutorial on how to develop black and with film but yeah I'd still need the projector.
what type of paper did you use though?

one thing why are there the lines across it something to do with the way the box was made or the developing?

Elisa de la Torre said...

it's photograph paper for darkroom, different than the printing photopaper. you have to go to a photography store for it.

and the lines..haha, thats a proffesional secret..lol
no, theyre just strings i put inside the box, before the paper, when taking the picture.

Yeah I got that but what kind did you use? :p

okay that's interesting why did you do that?

Elisa de la Torre said...

ah i used glossy paper, but you can use pearl of mate too.

why i did it? well, to add a hint of surrealism..lol, not exactly sure how, but yeah.

okay what did you use for the film then?

you dont use any film, just stick a piece of photograph paper in the box. that piece of paper is the one that's gonna be exposed to light and get the impression of it. then you develop it.
