I saw this earlier, but as I haven't been visiting blogs for long time, I didn't realize what you really meant by it till now.

I don' know why you chose to end your blogging career, dear Ely, but I will accept that it is for a good reason, whether I understand or not.

But I want to tell you something Ely. Perhaps we will never see you post another masterpiece again, never read another line of poetry, never be lifted in spirit by the lessons you have shared with such kind and true words and faith in the Lord. Perhaps we will never share happy moments again in the comment boxes, speak of glorious concepts or critique lovely things like color hues, signatures, and picture expressiveness.
Maybe those times have come to an end.

But I just want to say thank you. Thank you for all those things you, your blog, and your spirit, helped me, and us, with. I am indebted to you many times over. You were the one I would want to go to first for art critiquing, you know, you were just so good at it. You had such an eye for catching the little things, and even the little mistakes that when corrected, made the picture perfect. I know you will still be there if I need quality critiquing, but your blog reminds me of those happy times, and I just want to thank you for that. It also reminds me of the lessons you had the courage to relate that helped me. Those posts I would read that would just make me smile and think, "yes, that's so true, I know how that is."

All in all (and all you other readers, I hope you can say the same with me) I salute you Ely, and you contribution to the world of family blogging. You will be missed and if you ever decide to return, know I hope I can be the first to congratulate you.

Much love and thanks,
Abner
